This video of Ted sharing how he discovers “Opportunities” in real estate was recorded as part of the Real Estate Experts Summit ongoing series. Ted’s short biography is below the video.
“Ted Blank, S.E.C., is owner of Ted Blank & Associates, Inc. He holds a masters degree from Purdue University and has been active in the real estate business since 1979.
He holds the CCIM designation from the National Association of Realtors and is a past President of the Society of Exchange Counselors which specializes in counseling clients on acquiring or disposing of investment properties. Mr. Blank also wrote and teaches a creative real estate education program entitled “Understanding Your Client.” Ted is a member of three national real estate marketing groups.
He is a recipient of the S.E.C. Counselor of the Year Award and the 2002 recipient of the “Jack Hunt Excellence in Education” award. Ted has taught his Real Estate Counseling course for fifteen years in more than 15 states. Ted combined his real estate expertise with a banking background to form First Amherst Financial Partners which specializes in the purchase of non-performing bank loans. Recognizing the market value of these assets and working creatively with borrowers, Ted has been able to create positive outcomes for both the lending institutions and the borrowers.
Today, his business time is split between Commercial Real Estate investments and Brokerage, teaching and holding a minority interest in a fast-food franchise.”
